This is the same breast pump as the #0240108 except it includes a rechargeable battery for portability and ease of use. Symphony is the latest innovation from Medela in hospital-grade electric double pumps. With breakthrough 2-Phase Expression pumping, Symphony is proven to reduce pumping time through faster let-down and milk flow and remove as much milk as a breastfeeding baby. 2-Phase Expression is an advanced pumping pattern that mimics nursing rhythm of your baby by pumping in two distinct modes: – Let-down Mode – Simulates initial rapid suckling of your baby to initiate faster milk flow, or let-down. – Expression Mode – Simulates slower, deeper suckling of your baby for maximum milk flow in less time.
